Cafe Bono - Coquitlam

I haven’t tried their cakes yet but the small bingsu was good and enough for one. Nice, warm and lovely space.

I have lactose intolerance, which I can only drink coffee with soymilk, the barista had put a lot of time in crafting my coffee, perhaps, the best in tricity ?

This place was clean and fancy except the fact that only decaf drink were available because the coffee bean was totally out of stock on the day of my first visit... overall was decent though. I'd like to come again.

I tried the blueberry yogurt cakes, light and tasty. All other cakes there looks good as well. 4/5 for the cakes, however, they served cakes on disposable plates with one time used plastic folks which is not environmental friendly and makes the cakes look cheap and ugly. I’ve been to much busier cafes but they have no issues putting cakes on proper plates so I can’t really get the reasons for this.

This is a fantastic spot to relax with friends or have a catch-up. The drinks are excellent, and the cakes are absolutely delicious. However, I would prefer a regular plate instead of a paper one, especially when spending over $8 for a slice. Overall, the atmosphere is wonderful, the renovations are impressive, and the staff is fantastic!
