Fun place to get together and play some sand vball. Been going there for years. Minimal effort would bring it to the forefront of sand vball avenues in dfw. New hoses around the courts, better showers on the south side, proper net heights on all courtsexcept maybe one or two reserved for lower level play. Just thoughts, but overall that where people have been going for years, just would love to see some updates.
I had a fantastic time at this sports bar, especially with the sand volleyball tournaments happening! It’s a great spot with plenty of large-screen TVs, so you can catch multiple NFL games on a Sunday. I also enjoyed a delicious thin crust pizza – it was so good that I almost forgot to take pictures until it was half gone! Definitely a yummy experience!
On a positive note, this place is quite good for playing volleyball. There are many well-lit courts, plenty of space, and it tends to be busy on Friday nights with a lot of people around. You could easily go solo and ask to join a game; if the group isn’t closed off, you might get the chance to play. The open play fee is $5, which you pay at the door to enter.
The highlight of the place is the beach volleyball court. However, they don’t allow you to bring your own water, which means you have to purchase bottles for $1.50 each. While I understand the reasoning behind this, I believe there could be a more efficient way to handle it.
