Sagar Hotel'

One of the highlights of my time in Hampi was the incredible breakfast at this restaurant. For only Rs 30, you can order everything on the menu and trust me, you should try it all. During our three days in Hampi, we couldn't stop thinking about the delicious breakfast that set the tone for our day. The management at the restaurant is also very friendly and accommodating.

The breakfast and dinner at this restaurant were fantastic. We tried rice balls, puri, dosa, and plastered rice, and everything was delicious and great value. We ended up eating here four times in four days while we were in Hampi!

We visited Hampi and wanted to have breakfast before we visit the temple. We could mention that Sagar Hotel and thought it had to be a standard Darshini next to the parking lot. The hotel is located in a small track... next to the Virupaksha temple among many other hotels and small joints. But the food was excellent. Puri Bhaji was just amazing. So appe and tea were going with it. I would strongly recommend this place. For two of us, we just paid 120 Rs for a filling.

We had breakfast every morning for 4 days there. We tried Paddu for the first time and we loved it so much. Idli and puri were also super delicious. The food is also cheap (30 rs per dish). The ladies are nice, but don't forget to throw your disposable plate into the garbage after dinner, for the first time we ate there, we didn't see the container, we thought they were taking the plates and one of the ladies wasn't so happy that we left them on the table.

Simple and very good food. We tried the dosa, the Puri, the padu and the chai and when I say try I mean we stuffed our bellies with it, it was a delicious breakfast. The women there are attentive efficient and know their stuff. Came...every morning, there just a couple of table but a quick turn over of tourists and locals alike so you can seat without problem.
