Upper Cup Coffee - Columbus

We enjoy discovering small, independently owned coffee shops while traveling, and this one was a delightful find. I usually order a mocha when trying out a new place; if they can't make a decent mocha, I won't bother returning. Both the mocha and the caramel latte were quite good – not the absolute best, but satisfying enough to persuade me to come back. The staff was welcoming and friendly, just what I hope for in a coffee shop like this.

No frills coffee shop with talented baristas, eclectic crowd, and a great pour over with multiple types of beans. Recommend!

First time coming here it is sooooooo good!! It was a Sunday morning, so kind of busy, but I didn't mind it. I like the vibes in there will definitely be coming back!! I had the iced mocha the upper cup egg sandwich

I stopped in to sit and take some notes and think for a little while, and I quickly got a cup of coffee at an under market price, after having my nerdy questions about the coffee answered by the cordial host at the register. It was a drip coffee from Rwanda, and it was perfectly roasted and brewed. The place was steady and full of conversation, but it was not noisy or distracting. I enjoyed my coffee to the last drip, but I had to run out before I got to order an Ethiopian pour over. I guess I’ll have to go back for another cup. Next time I’ll include pics

As someone who's new to Columbus, I stumbled upon this place while driving around in search of coffee, and I've returned four times in just one week! The quality of their drinks is outstanding. I've tried both their hot and iced lattes, and each time, the balance of sweetness and coffee flavor has been just right. The staff is consistently friendly and efficient. Plus, they serve grilled peanut butter!
