I enjoyed the atmosphere, but maybe not. The food was tasteful and served quickly. It is a relatively small indoor area, and there are some seats outside, but it could quickly fill in a busy night. We enjoyed our meal.
Keene did a great job with our orders. She was kind and knows what she did. I decided to try her Ropa Vieja and my colleague the steak sandwich. The food was served quite quickly and large water service. Fusion is about foods based on a particular culture, but culinarically linked to ingredients from other regions or cultures. My Ropa Vieja was very special, it was no variation from any region, it was Piglatin's. The mashed yuca was delicious. There were no supplements in this duck, all elements came together pleasantly. Wounded plate composition! The ambience and the music were unintentionally unintentional; not for your mother in the law and certainly do not ask for children's menu. If you want good, creative, local cuisine, this could be your place to relax with friends.
Excellent experience. Definitely a bar concentrated location, but I came to lunch. The part was decent and the pulled pig was phenomenal. Flavor profile is not what you would expect, that is not a run of mill texmex place. Island twist on food makes it a unique Latin American culinary experience. Get the applesitter (this is not what they call) and you will definitely not be disappointed with your dessert!
What a truly unique combination of flavors a bit Mexican, a bit Cuban, a healthy dose Korean... I had the Guava Lava taco and the Kimchi taco and both were good from this world. I also had the kimchi quesadilla and it was huge and so SO delicious (yes, I am a big kimchi fan). I also patterned the ropa vieja and that was similar amazing. The Cuban pastry dessert with cream cheese frosting and Guava paste was worthy of any bakery, so flaky and buttery and satisfying. And the elephant? The only things I didn't live were the picadillo empanadas that were good, but maybe not quite at the same level as the rest. The place is small and the loud music makes casual conversation a little challenging, but they work on a large terrace dining area that can relieve these problems on days when the weather is good. And I totally dig out the funky interior. Eat here! You won't find anything like that.
The food options were decent, although limited for my vegetarian friend. The atmosphere is really cool, actually, although a little loud of you're looking to chat with your group. The food tastes great, although it takes a little long to come out. However the service is pretty attentive. All in all I think it's a decent spot to hit up, and pretty flavorful!
