Golden Bee The Broadmoor

Music was way too loud. We could not even hear ourselves talk and our ears were ringing when we left. It was terrible. The service was not good. We had a new waitress with a shadow waitress and neither of them were even partially attentive.

We had the salmon and the fish and chips which were very good. The server was friendly and attentive. The music was a nice feature for the evening.

Our server Thao(? was excellent but the food was mediocre (the wall eye po boy was tasteless snd overly fried and the noise level from the piano and the patrons yelling above the music was unpleasant.

A good option if you’re at the braodmoor. The ambiance and piano are great, good traditional English pub fare scotch eggs slightly over, but the sticky toffee pudding was spot on!

It had been a few years since our last visit to the Golden Bee, but this time we brought a new guest with us. Unfortunately, checking in with our reservation seemed to take longer than expected, without any explanation for the delay. However, the hostesses were friendly and welcoming. Our server was excellent and the food met our expectations for pub fare with generous portions. We especially enjoyed the option of fun and delicious non-alcoholic mocktails. Though we didn't stay for the piano entertainment, we can imagine the atmosphere gets lively later in the evening. Overall, we would definitely return for another visit.
