Excellent in all aspects: atmosphere, service, food

The food was excellent, but the service can use some help. My wife and I both ordered steak, and when the food was delivered the server did not bring steak knives so we started out using our butter knives. A few minutes later someone showed up with our steak knives. We both had a glass of wine, but after finishing the wine we were never offered a second glass. After having desert and the table was cleared, no one brought us a bill for the meal. Looking around the room and trying to get the attention of our waitress, she just avoided looking our way and instead was talking to a fellow worker and staring off in the distance. After about 20 minutes I finally got up and intercepted the waitress to ask for the bill. These minor slip ups left us a bit of a bitter feeling after paying a premium price for only average service. I might be inclined to visit this establishment again but it will take awhile to dismiss this experience.

Our waiter was great; very knowledgeable and helpful; atmosphere was just what we wanted for celebrating our 52nd wedding anniversary. Highly recommend.

Amanda was great. She was very interested in making us happy.
