The donuts were handed to me in a poorly sealed box, and I had to fix it myself. It seemed like the employee did not enjoy their job, and this reflected in their service.
The restaurant was dirty. not a cleaner table had to ask for a wut that was even clean. they didn't even come out to clean after I had to ask for a cloth.
I went to this restaurant for lunch and decided to order a chicken salad sandwich on a small roll. I sometimes have trouble hearing clearly, but the server repeated my order and asked how I wanted my sandwich. I requested a little bit of chicken salad, indicating with my fingers the amount I wanted, which I believe was four or five spoonfuls. I also ordered a coffee and a meal deal, only to discover that they were out of potato wedges. The server asked what I would like instead, suggesting a donut. I agreed, and was informed that the potato wedges cost $1.99, which is equivalent to two donuts. Despite the mix-up with the side dish, the chicken salad sandwich was very tasty.
I quickly stopped at a restaurant in Collingwood while traveling to Toronto to use the restroom and grab a coffee. Unfortunately, the bathroom was the most disgusting I have ever seen in a Tim Hortons or any public restroom for that matter. I could tell something was wrong as soon as I opened the women's door due to the smell. I mentioned it to the staff working at the counter, who informed me that they were aware of the issue but were too busy to clean it. While waiting for my coffee, I witnessed another customer enter the bathroom only to quickly exit and report the unsanitary conditions. The staff's response was the same, acknowledging the problem but claiming they were too busy to address it.
Busy in the morning and no counter staff on, line up to the door. drive through splits the parking lot, once you get in you can't get out as the cars in the drive through block your way. Difficult pulling out of lot going east...due to high volume of traffic. You have to pull out onto the Poplar Side road to get back to Hurontario St. Coffee is good but the service inside the store is very slow. Rush starts at 7:30 am according to the locals.
