Contribuiți la feedbackThe Marietta location really needs to make some improvements, starting with the customer experience. We discovered this restaurant last week and picked up a menu. However, when we scanned the QR code on it, our order ended up being sent to the Griffin location. When we arrived at Windy Hill to pick up our food, they didn't have our order. I also noticed that the information on the site was incorrect. The manager was rude and unhelpful in resolving the issue. Because it was already late, we decided to place another order at the Windy Hill location. I then called Chownow to cancel the original order, but the manager at Griffin refused to issue a refund, which forced me to escalate my complaint to Chownow regarding their menu. Given all the hassle, we hoped the food would be worth it, but it was quite disappointing. The green beans were terrible, the fish was overly salty and overcooked, and the hushpuppies were lacking in flavor and also overcooked. This was my first and last visit to this location; they have too many issues to be worth returning. We won’t be back!
The male cashier at the counter was extremely rude. When I entered, I saw they had lemonade and asked how sweet it was. He simply pointed to it and replied, "The lemonade is right here." I clarified that I hadn't tasted it yet. From that moment on, he became very unpleasant. I decided not to place an order, so I can't comment on the food. Overall, the service was a 1/5.
Wow, what can I say about this place? There aren't many like it left, especially in the Atlanta Metro area. The location isn't ideal, but it suits the Old National Area, and parking can be limited. However, the food is consistently hot and made to order.
The fish is always good and well seasoned. I got the 10pc trout with Mac and cheese and sweet potato puffs. Everything was excellent. The hushpuppies were just right. I saw some new guys in the kitchen). I gave it a 4 because the interior is a little dated, so I never dine-in.Food: 5/5
As many times as I have passed this place over the years I never tried it until today. Came for lunch with some coworkers and we all had catfish dinners with sides. I had 2 pc with baked beans and onion rings. The fish was good but I'm not a fan of meal breading, I like flour coating more. The baked beans were cold but the onion rings were good. Everyone said they food was ok and not great. The store needs some upgrades. Kind of old looking but it was clean i give them that.Prices are reasonable if youre lookong to spend less than $15 for a plate. Idk if I would ever come back again. I'll stick to other places I know.
