Miss Francesca's - Colac

I stopped in to get some take away cakes to take to a friends house and I found the prices a little high but the cake comes in styrofoam containers which could be changed to a more environmentally friendly alternative. The cakes were lovely :)

Relaxed atmosphere and obviously a hit with the locals.. You would have to be to know this cafe is tucked away down a laneway.. but if you are looking for home cooked style food or panini filled with goodies, this is a good place to be. Nice big windows with a good vibe.Soup de jour or date scones, muffins and more.. real cream with my scone, gotta love the country

Hot sweet potato and pear soup,served with warm crispy toasted grain bread,with sides of butter, was food for the soul on a bleak day.So glad I took a wrong turn and found this little gem. I couldn't resist trying the coconut raspberry slice that was served with a dollop of thick clotted cream, all sweet treats are made in house, as was everything thing else!!! Just perfect!!If you visit Colac, you must eat here.

The food is quite delicious in this cafe, serving things like toasted sandwiches, baked potatoes, quiche and salad. It is quite scions and you can have a beer or wine there also.

We visited this place for the late lunch with all my extended family members (4 adults and 3 kids). What a nice decision to step on this walk and make a couple of extra steps from the main street. We were amased with the atmosphere and the quality of food. Ad coffee!!!!!!!!
