Plantation Hotel - Coffs Harbour

We went for kids eat free Tuesdays. Great value for us to get the kids meal deal with our mains. Neptune chicken was delicious and the kids scoffed their spaghetti bolognese. Staff were all really helpful and polite. Perfect for a family meal

We were recommended this hotel, by our accommodation next door. We were not disappointed, and both of us found the meals and service extremely good. The salmon with the sweet potato chips was particularly delicious.

I had looked up places to eat before arriving in Coffs Harbour and the Plantation Hotel didn't disappoint.Massive portions, fantastic value for money, superb food selection, super friendly staff - and HOT food - other restaurants owners should visit here to see how it should be done.There is 2 hour free parking right outside. Order your food and drinks from the bar, get an order buzzer and collect your piping hot dinner when it's ready. Kids eat for aud9.50 - again big portions includes slushy cup and ice cream. My husband had a lovely steak and I had steak fajita salad in a gigantic tortilla bowl. This restaurant has themed nights - we were there Mexican night but the standard menu runs all week. Value for money - yes we ate incl glass of wine for about £30.Top Tip- this restaurant gets very busy so get there about 5.20 as you can put your order in before dinner starts at 5.30 and beat the rush. Would we go back - Definitely !!!!

A little disappointed, I had the pulled Pork Quesadilla which didnt have much flavour to it. My husband had the beef Nachos and it didnt have much meat in it, was basically cooked corn chips. With the mexican each meal comes with a Corona, as i dont drink corona i asked what i could substitute it with and it was Soft drink ( i think you should have been able to at least able to get a house wine or equal value drink to a corona. All in all not the best mexican experience.

Just chilled out. Had slow cooked ribs, done well. Kids meals were good portions with free ice cream afterwards. Play area for the kids.. worth a visit
