Contribuiți la feedbackWe dined at the café during our visit to the Dolphin Marine Conservation Park and were extremely disappointed with the long waiting times. After waiting in line to order for 10-15 minutes, we then waited nearly an additional hour for our food to be ready. We had to ask for our food to go in takeaway boxes so we could quickly move on to the next event to avoid missing the rest of the shows at the Park (we almost missed them because of the delay). We ordered simple dishes from the menu, yet there was no communication from the staff regarding the delay. Most customers received their meals promptly and were able to enjoy them at their tables, while we were left waiting. When we finally received our food, it was very ordinary at best. The fried food was bland and nothing special, despite being on the 'specials' menu. The cafe and the Park need to work together to better manage crowds and peak demand, and to address any issues that may have caused the delays. It would be helpful for them to inform customers of expected delays before ordering, especially when the Park is only open for a limited time each day. Waiting for 1 hour for food in a 4-hour window leaves a negative impression.
Our experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. We chose this place because it was dog friendly, but upon arrival for our lunch booking, we were seated next to the front door and parking lot. We opted to sit at a picnic table on the grass in the back instead. After waiting 25 minutes, our food still hadn't arrived, so I had to go to the kitchen to inquire. A staff member then came out and said he had our takeaway ready, even though we had ordered for dining in. The fish and chips were small and clearly frozen, while the Tandoori chicken wrap was dry and bland. The total cost for our underwhelming meal was nearly $40. We will not be returning.
I brought my partner to this restaurant for lunch earlier today. We ordered two Aussie burgers and a side of chips. The burgers were amazing, juicy, and full of flavor. The chips were fresh, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. The service was quick and friendly. We even got to sit on the deck with our Jack Russell while we ate. It was a fantastic lunch experience and I would definitely recommend this place.
Extremely Disappointed with Breakfast,Poached Egg was runny and breakfast was tasteless, made worse as when i placed my order i wasn't informed that i had to get my own cutlery etc, so that when my food came out i went inside to get cutlery and as a result myna birds started pecking at my food and other patrons tried to shoo them away and advised me that i should never leave food unattended as this restaurant has a massive myna bird problem, I complained inside and was told that the girl that has served me was brand new and should have informed me. I was never offered replacement food or a refund. I will never visit this cafe again nor would I recommend it.
Having friends and family in the area who are dog owners makes this an ideal place to meet while having four legged friends accepted too. We have frequently met here for coffee or breakfast. Coffee and meals have always been fine and staff friendly. It’s really nice for the dog owners to feel at home, with their dogs not forgotten either. Hint. Dog walking at the local creek/beach across the road where many dogs come to play and generally socialise and lose that extra energy. Not bad for the humans either. Also not bad even closer, by the boardwalk across the parland by the car park. We like to reward ourselves with a meal and big coffees after exercise. Keeps the doctors happy too. Would recommend.
