Naked Taco - Coconut Creek

I met here with a former coworker to talk the shhh. Parker was AMAZING! He was super patient while we browsed the liquor choices and had all the suggestions. He checked in on us at the right times and was extremely helpful. As a manager, teacher, and Lead of a fitness boutique, if I worked in the restaurant industry, he’d be hired. I might add that he was the ONLY server who asked if we had anyone helping us since we were waiting 10 minutes without being served. I’ve been here a few times and hope to see him again. ?

The food was mid. No flavor. I had two tacos and the dip trio of guacamole, salsa, and queso. Didn’t even eat half of the trio because it wasn’t good. The service was subpar I still don’t know the server that I had’s name. He never greeted us just asked what we wanted to order. Wasn’t impressed.

I’ve never been to a restaurant where I had to clean the table myself because it was sticky after notifying my waiter.My husband and I immediately noticed the table was sticky and had food residue, so we notified our waitress, Franca who shrugged ??‍, shook her head, and leaned her head to the side while saying it was the mist from the fans that caused the stickiness on our table…She offered us some “wet naps” to clean it ourselves, and it went SOUTH from there ?We had already ordered drinks and some chips, so it was too late to bail..And I kid you not, my husband and I witnessed two couples sit down on tables the staff did not even ATTEMPT to properly clean..there was food from the previous guests (a large party) still on that table when the couple you see in the video sat down (one you can see in the video) and my husband had to stop me from letting them know (didn’t want me to cause a scene).Another couple had to ask the bus boy to clean their table and he used a wipe he had grabbed some food from another table with to lightly glide over the area the couple asked him to clean. So he only cleaned that one spot the couple pointed to meanwhile the entire table needed cleaning. “Selective pretend cleaning”They don’t clean their tables in between guests. It’s not the mist from the outdoor fans.They’re pretty nonchalant about it so we didn’t want to risk eating from the kitchen because only God knows how risky that may be we just didn’t want to find out.This restaurant could be so much better.. A guest should NEVER HAVE to clean their own table.I got a margarita-it barely had any alcohol, but since I’m not a drinker, I didn’t careMy husband got a Florida man beer (from the tap) and he could taste residue from other beersWe are NEVER coming back I had the WORST stomach ache on the way home from this place

Was really surprised during my visit today. I swore this place off when they first opened because of their exorbitant South Beach prices but since then, I’ve visited from time to time and just skipped over the overpriced tacos and most of their drinks. Today I was shocked when my bill came and I was charged a “service charge” of 3%. I asked my bartender to remove this and she kindly explained that she couldn’t. It’s company policy to charge it. This made me really upset since I already had to accept the fact that I’m overpaying for everything else and now on top of that, they are going to illegally charge me for something that I didn’t agree to? Naked Taco, stop stealing for your customers. You may think you’re smart by only charging each customer $1 $3 but for those of us that can add, we realize you’re making an extra tens of thousands of dollars per year by stealing! Never again!

The best thing there were the chips and salsa, the food flavorless!! Nice waiter and
