Sakura Sushi & Grill - Cochrane

Food was delicious, service was great. Everything was well presented and hot and fresh, or cold and fresh. Decorations are cool, with a wall of floating origami cranes. The tempura was really good and the munch roll or whatever it was called was really good. I think the special rolls are a little pricey for my idea of sushi, but really tasty none the less. Will eat here again.

Sakura is that kind of place that once you try it, you get fascinated by it. Since the very first moment that I stepped in I experienced a great service. Servers are knowledgeable and professional. They recommend us the Spicy tuna roll, Philadelphia roll, and the spicy seafood soup udon. All was delicious, and it came fast to our table. Fresh and quality ingredients make the difference at this place. Also, the interior design was great decorated by wood materials, colorful origami figures, spacious and lit up. We will repeat for sure so we must try the rest of their wide menu. See you soon!

Beautiful interior with lots of origami cranes and drawings, moreish food, perfect dessert and even enough parking lots. I highly recommend you this restaurant. Servers are nice and kind, tempura was not greasy at all but crispy enough even dipping sause was great taste and temperature. Poke bowl was good quality bite-sized sashimi and veggies. And mango icecream was my perfect dessert! Thanks to Sakura for the great dinner in my day-off !

Ok, so this place screams "chain restaurant", but the decor, service and food all show that they want to go the extra mile and provide excellence in every area. I was there for lunch in the middle of the week. I think they saw me in my car glancing at the door before they were opened (11:30am) and someone came and opened the door early. I was greeted with enthusiasm and friendliness. I've been here a number of times, and have only had mediocre service once by a non-asian server. I typically get the smaller bento box because I love the variety (salad, california rolls, tempura, miso soup, meat/rice selection, dumplings) it's got everything you could want. They also gave me a lovely portion of a featured tofu dish that was delicious. Their food is VERY fresh and flavourful. These guys work so hard to give you a good experience, I can't imagine anyone being disappointed. I hope they're able to keep up the good work.

We visited for lunch and sampled a good variety of creative rolls. Deep fried house special, battera sushi, purple wild rice roll, and a good (and actually spicy) spicy tuna roll! Have not tried their more traditional sashimi or nigiri but will be back to try another time. Fish is fresh and great presentation of dishes. Friendly and quick service. Restaurant is beautiful and clean, fairly new still! Keep up the great work...We will be back!
