MacKay's Cochrane Ice Cream Ltd

The best ice cream in southern Alberta. Every week end there is a long line - up out the door...Locals and Calgarians frequent this store...My grandchildren love this place.

When you think of Cochrane you usually think of McKay's Ice Cream. For good reason! This is some of the best ice cream west of the Atlantic Ocean. Sometimes the line ups are long, but that gives you time to ponder the huge menu. The price is a bit scary but as a treat well, you decide. I had a double "Orange" something and wow!

Went to McKays in a hot summer afternoon. So many people. The ice cream is pretty good. I think people come here for the experience and not just the ice cream. I find the prices a little high but they have so many flavours.

I had a wonderful experience at this ice cream shop. The employees were welcoming and the ice cream was delicious.

We have visited this ice cream shop multiple times and their products are excellent! They offer a wide variety of flavors to choose from. My personal favorite is Kulfi! The customer service is also very friendly.
