Contribuiți la feedbackThis is a great pub . Today however a little let down by the food which is unusual , Steak sandwich was over cooked like rubber and very gristly . Coq au vin pie filling was lovely but in an uncooked case .. not crispy but just like a pudding Maybe just a little rushed . . Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Took my sons family and enjoyed the food although the burgers are slightly expensive for the potion sze. Found the dining area a bit too dark Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Beautiful country pub located at the back of Whalley in the picturesque Ribble Valley. The pub is very accommodating with open fires and cosy armchairs and a large bar area serving craft beers and an array of other popular beverages. The food was lovely with the menu being printed daily, we had French onion soup, pate and cheese soufflé for starters. Mains consisted of shoulder of lamb and home made burger. It was all delicious and filling. My only complaint would be that the soup could have been hotter.
