Toros - Clifton

Nothing to write home about. Food was good. Lentil soup came out at almost room temperature. Bread was warm, soda was flat and everything took forever to come out. I remember this place to be the spot for Turkish cuisine. One of the waitresses rolled her eyes so hard I could hear it because the order we received was wrong and she wasn't happy about that. It was disappointing to see her reaction when we asked for it to be fixed because it was not the way it was ordered. We were a party of 10 so that may be why it felt super slow but one would expect better service. Parking is very tight. We came out of the restaurant to find the car was side swiped by the back driver side to the trunk. Overall.. not the greatest experience.

Fantastic Turkish restaurant everything we ordered was delicious. They also have yogurt sis and adana which I never tried but it was fabulous. The service is top notch. I would highly recommend this place for nice dinner, going out, or special occasion.

Wow, just wow... I found this place on a friend's recommendation however Clifton is a bit off my regular routes and I only got to try it now. Having been to tons of Turkish and other Mediterranean places in Jersey (just to mention a dozen in Cliffside Park, Patterson etc) i thought it's hard to impress me. But this place stands out for sure. From the entrance, walls decoration, food presentation, quality, service... It's a complete package. Everything is thought through and well organized. It's not on a cheap side but well worth the experience. They have a lunch special that includes full meal course, under $20. The portions are not huge(here I disagree with some of the other reviewers) but of a decent size, even for the lunch special. All in all, highly recommend this place not only for food but for a complete dining experience!

Uniquely decorated Turkish restaurant in Clifton, NJ. Reasonably priced and well designed. You will keep seeing interesting artifacts around you throughout your meal. Their meze platter was good, babaganoush was my favorite by far among appetizers. Adana kebab was not good at all, no one liked it. Rice pudding was just yummy, don’t forget to get that. Overall great place with good food.

Fantastic Turkish cuisine! Great atmosphere with very interesting decor and amazing attention to detail (mints in box your final bill is presented in! . Food was authentic and flavorful in what is a very Turkish area of Clifton/Paterson so you know it’s good. Had a variety of dishes from their menu and was impressed by all of them!
