Crown Fried Chicken - Cliff Island

DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD HERE! Awesome food but, BEWARE OF BEING SCAMMED!!! They overcharged my card by a random amount (not a mistake) set it up as a recurring monthly charge!!!! Maybe thought I wouldn’t notice since it was late at night.

Went in for our first gyro in the Portland area and were not disappointed!! The beef gyro was amazing in both the salad and the sandwich and the French fries and sauce were seasoned incredibly well. We will absolutely be going back soon!

This place is open late and my expectations aren’t extremely high, but most recent experience was disappointing. I ordered and prepaid with tip online to be picked, said 15-20 min, I showed up at about 15, cashier said 5 more min, then I waited 10-15 more minutes for 2 items. Wasn’t that busy, two guys working but both appeared to be new, poor management decision. I ordered a schwarma wrap which turned out to be a sloppy chicken and lettuce burrito basically. My stomach was not happy about my decision. Won’t be going back to this location for a while. I know from previous experience that they have some guys who have worked there for quite some time, I just picked the wrong night, Tuesday 11pm. Hopefully the new guys get better training.

The Order was for one 5 piece Fried Chicken Meal with fries, one order of onion rings, and 1 puece of Tres Leches Cake The food is overpriced and the Service is near non existent. Portion size is miniscule. My Cigarrette is longer than my chicken thigh or my chick leg... for size range Onion rings were excellent with a slightly sweet corn meal batter, improving the meal, unexpectedly, given the quality of their chicken. Fries were not included, though charged for through the meal special. The Tres Leches cake is delicious and unexpected, a light in the disappointing experience I had Until this takeout improves portion size and can be consistent with their pricing, missing items, and improve customer service, I whole heartedly recommend staying away from this place... Total charged my bill, $25-,

I went in an asked for kebab kofta chicken with rice a salad. I first asked if the Kaful chicken was spicy. He said a little so I trusted him. I got my order it looked wrong. So I asked him if he gave me kabob chicken also. He nodded yes he did so i left. He didn't I got 2 of the Kofta chicken things that were so spicy I threw them in the trash. I can't eat stuff like that I have stomach issues. The salad dressing is watered down. The rice was good the only thing I could eat. I'm very disappointed. I was hoping this would be my new spot for food. The price wasn't bad if I was able to eat it all but almost $20 to only be able to eat the rice no thanks! The chicken was in a roll rubbery like nugget meat. Not what I was expecting at all.
