Marina Cantina - Clearwater Beach

I live nearby and often pass by this restaurant, so I decided to stop for dinner on a Friday night. While the views were impressive, the food and service left much to be desired. I can’t speak to their drink options since I only ordered a beer. The menu was quite limited and didn’t have any genuine Mexican dishes. I tried the BBQ chicken tacos, but they were very disappointing. The chips tasted like strange ramen noodles, and the salsa seemed to be straight out of a can. I won't be ordering food from here again; I'd much prefer to go to Pan Filo’s down the street.

As for the food, it was fantastic! I ordered the pan-seared tuna, and it was cooked to perfection. The rest of my family had only positive feedback about their meals, although the kids, age 7, weren’t fans of the rice since it had green olives mixed in. I would definitely recommend Marina Cantina. It’s in a great location by the marina and offers stunning views of the sunsets.

What an incredible experience! Our server, Savana, provided outstanding service—truly deserving of five stars for both service and food. The short rib was the best I've ever had. It was also a nice touch that the manager came by to check on us. We're already planning to return in two days. Absolutely fantastic!

My husband and I were staying at the Wyndham across the street and came across some fantastic reviews for this restaurant, and it definitely lived up to the hype! They offer a great selection of vegetarian dishes along with a solid menu. However, the highlight of our visit was our server, Mason. He was lively, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Since we don’t dine out often, being treated so well made our experience even more special. We will absolutely return to Marina Cantina, which is a charming hidden gem!

This place is amazing and my server.. Rich.. by far the best hands down no competition. We wouldn’t of even known where to start to look on the menu if it wasn’t for his recommendations and personal touch to his service. AMAZING. I will be back the next time I am in Clearwater Fl.
