The Fifth Floor - Clarksburg

I find the mixed drinks to be a bit pricey, while the beer prices are reasonable. We ordered a sandwich, and it was quite good. I enjoyed the atmosphere, and the staff members were very friendly.

When we asked the waitress about the delay, she explained that the large party's food was taking a while to prepare and that their order took priority since they were ahead of us. While I understand that to an extent, they had a party of 12, and we were just two people. Plus, we were the only two parties in the restaurant at the time! The menu included straightforward items such as appetizers, dips, salads, and sandwiches, not a complex multi-course meal. Eventually, the bar manager intervened and comped our appetizer, which was appreciated. Shortly after, our food finally arrived. Overall, I felt that the staff was inexperienced and didn’t have their priorities straight. It's unacceptable for a party of two to wait an hour for their main courses, especially if there's only one cook on duty that night who should be prepared for a large group. We even noticed the cook outside smoking a cigarette as we walked in, and he returned after we were seated—definitely not ideal. While the food was decent and the place itself looked nice, the service left a lot to be desired.

Wonderful staff, amazing view, and the most well-stocked bar I’ve seen in the county! I plan to try their signature soup and a salad for lunch tomorrow, and I’ll update you on how the food tastes.

We stopped in here last Saturday night for a bite on our way from PA to Huntington, WV. Starts with a fun elevator trip to the 5th floor. As the elevator opened, you can appreciate the building's architecture and history. The space was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Food was decent; drink selection was great. It would seem this is more bar than restaurant, but a very comfortable and fun feel. A few miles off of I-79, but check this place out if you are on your way through WV.

Very friendly server during the day. I highly suggest the turkey club wrap and the French dip.
