The Depot Cafe - Clanton

The meat and three was a lot of food. The chicken casserole was good, but the sides were awesome. The broccoli casserole was the best I've ever had. The vegetable soup was very good. The banana pudding was homemade and it was delicious.

Great food and great price!!! Breakfast special 2 eggs (how you like them), meat, grits, biscuit or toast. Lunch is meat 2 or 3 and can't beat the deal or if you like order off the menu. Try our local special the Hot Hamburger!

The food here is down home cooking and is EXCELLENT! No matter what we order it is spot on. Always look forward to stopping in. Waitresses are sweet. Place is always busy.

I have visited the Farmhouse Cafe twice now and each time has been fabulous! My first visit I had the chicken pot pie with field peas and field ? not the typical canned sweet corn you G̲e̲t̲ at most of these type restaurants! My brother and I drove thirty miles after reading other reviews as we don’t mind a road trip every now and then for a good meal! I can say we will be back probably once a week after this!

Unexpectedly, due to a bus issue our Senior Citizen Group ate here for lunch and had a great Southern food experience. I went through the buffet line and picked the Beef Stew, which was most delicious while my friends had the Chicken Lasagna, which they so enjoyed. I also had their Brussels Sprouts which were outstanding as well as their fried squash and macaroni cheese. Everything was cooked fresh and seasoned well. The corn muffins were served with the meal and for dessert was a small piece of pound cake, which I passed on. Our waitress was efficient and kept my tea filled. Great service and we were warmly thanked for our business there.
