Excellent restaurant, traditional delicious food, excellent service, staff very attentive. Very highly recommend.

Loved this place: Mixed bruschetta (grilled salsiccia, cheese, tomatoes : tasty. Focaccia with crudo: perfect. Tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffles: yum, says my spouse. Gnocchi with ragu: the kids loved it. Arrosticini with homemade chips (yes indeed! and green salad: delicious. Tiramisu: one of the best. Don’t miss this one when you’re in the area!!

Once we found this restaurant, we visited every night as no other restaurant came even close to the incredible food served here. Home cooked perfection, generous helpings, low prices and wonderful service make this is the best restaurant in the entire region and we have tried them all! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Choose the gnocchi or ravioli pomodoro for the best pasta you will ever eat, then have arrosticini (invented in this village but now widely available in Abruzzo though not all created equal this is the real deal) to taste real Italy in every bite. The antipasti board is delightful, the Tiramisu incredible, the house wines absolutely lovely. If you haven't visited Locanda you haven't tasted the real Abruzzo so go there now. You will not regret it!
