Maremonti - Civezza

Whenever we visit Liguria, we go to the Agriturismo Maremonti of Maurizo and Angela (Civezza, near San Lorenzo al Mare). This agriturismo is the best kept secret of Liguria. There is no menu but during the evening lots of ligurian food is served: lots of antipasti, primi, secondi and dolce. Served with self made wine and limoncello. In summer we sit outisde on the terrace with a stunning vieuw at the Mediterranian Sea. Our kids love to come here and are very welcome. Maybe a bit difficult to find, but really worth going. Maurizio is serving 14 ! lovely dishes, all freshly prepared by his wife Angela. Most of it is home grown. We enjoyed crostini, foccacia, artichoc, fresh pasta, rabit, some kind of mountain goat Capriolo? , veggies, desert and his home made wines, grappa's and olive oil. A more authentic Italian atmosphere can not be imagined. A must taste if you stay in the Imperia San Remo area!
