I lived in NY all my life. The Bronx til 12. Yonkers til 36. I have lived in Long Island for the past 8 years. Today, I stepped into Tara's for the first time and for the last time. My dad, who struggles with a walker to get in and out of places, spent 5 minutes getting into the place. Then we waited. 5 minutes nothing, 10 minutes more nothing. 15 minutes we sat and no one came. No one said hello. No one even said welcome. It was like we showed up to the loneliest place on planet Earth. I wonder how this place has survived in business for so long because their lack of customer service is abysmal, to say the least. They are so bad they don't deserve 1 star. My 1 star is a stark warning. You be better dying with cancer because, at least, then you might find someone in the world with a single spread of sympathy! What a dump. Don't waste your time. Parking: Spent money on street parking only to have to leave after waiting for 15 minutes and receiving no service. Read the other reviews they confirm how much of a cesspool this place is!

Great place for a christening or any family party. Food just excellent.

Karaoke every Monday’s night, Trivia every Tuesday, DJ or live music Saturday and Sunday. Cool Irish bar with friendly staff. Our favorite place!
