My go to UWS sushi takeout great quality for the price and always fast

Always perfection, one of our favorite places in the YWS.

From appetizer to dessert, Tenzan was an accidental find while looking for another non- sushi eatery, but it has become a family favorite. They serve a good variety of maki rolls. My kids tend to go for the bentos for lunch, which comes with salad, miso soup, rice, one main, shumei, haru maki and a California roll (which is a lot since it comes with two appetizers already). Favorites like teriyaki and katsu are available, but stepping outside your comfort zone is something I highly recommended here. The dessert menu is small, but everything on it will become a solid favorite. For the over 21 crowd, alcohol is served here.
