Monty Q's - City of New York

My wife, son, and I used to visit this pizzeria at least once a month after watching a movie at the theater just a few blocks away. We moved to North Carolina in 2019, but we still reminisce about the amazing food and fantastic service. We really miss that place!

I have been visiting this restaurant for many years while working at clients’ offices on Court Street and conducting business at the Supreme Court just down the block. They serve delicious pizza and offer quick portions of pasta that are prepared right in front of you. The selection of pizzas and pasta dishes is impressive. There is ample seating available, including some outdoor options depending on the weather. They also have soda and beer, and the restrooms are well-maintained. The esplanade overlooking lower Manhattan is perfect for a leisurely stroll and provides a beautiful view to help burn off those calories. This area of Brooklyn is particularly charming, with brownstone blocks and some older apartment buildings that add character to the neighborhood.

I been having lunch here for years. However, I been getting turned off by the second with their pizzas. The prices is way too high for low quality and poorly made pizza. Sometimes stale, lacking either cheese or tomato sauce, you might wanna stick topurchasing the freshly cooked pasta or salad instead. I will not be eating pizza there again, it was just disgusting. If you?rea real New Yorker, you know what good pizza is?

I liked this slice of pizza, a regular slice cost me $3.26 (not including tax). The slice was bigger than a normal slice and the crust was really good too. Parking is super limited, finding a parking spot is very difficult. The restaurant has plenty ofseating inside and outside as well. The bathroom was extremely clean, just bring in some knapkins from the table, inside whenyou wash your hands, the hand dryer is okay. If I was in the area again, I would definitely stop by here.

This is my favorite spot for a $14 salad. It's consistently delicious and tastes just how I like it every time. I've been visiting this place since I was a child and have introduced many friends to it. While I always opt for the salad, they also offer tasty pizza and pasta as alternatives. They serve beer as well. It's a fantastic place for lunch with coworkers or just a quick bite.
