Aji Sushi - City of New York

The sushi, tempura, and chicken katsu here are outstanding, and the portions are quite generous! The restaurant has a fresh, modern atmosphere. The staff are exceptionally attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it!

I had a delightful experience at this charming little Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere is lovely, clean, and straightforward. The service was excellent, and the lunch menu offered some great options. I opted for the chicken teriyaki bento box, which came with miso soup, rice, and salad. I also tried the vegetable tempura, and it was outstanding—featuring sweet potato, kabocha, eggplant, broccoli, and a few other veggies, all perfectly crispy and not greasy. While the chicken teriyaki was quite good, I personally prefer dark meat, and this dish was made with chicken breast, which tends to be more popular with others.

The sushi here is delicious. Last night I had tried the kiss of fire roll and the spicy spider roll. Both were fantastic. I usally order in from there, but going there was so much better.

This might be my new go-to takeout sushi spot in my neighborhood. I placed an order on GrubHub, which was very easy. I started with the seaweed salad and also got the kiss of fire and spicy crunchy salmon rolls. Both were very filling, and the kiss of fire roll was awesome! My friend ordered a few different variations of tuna rolls and loved them all. Great portion sizes for the values, and our order was dropped off within 20 mins of placing it.
