Randall's - Church Hill

The restaurant has a lot of inconsistencies, and many of the dishes are not made from scratch. If you’re hoping for a nostalgic diner experience, you may be disappointed. The catfish is tasty, but the soup beans are just average. The coleslaw and mashed potatoes fall short as well. I recommend ordering a burger, fish, liver, or something fried instead. They offer breakfast all day, but since I don’t eat breakfast often, I can't provide insights on that. The pie tastes like it came from the grocery store. While it’s better than many of the other nearby options, it doesn’t quite measure up to the best local spots. One major downside is the bathroom, which is in a really poor state. It hasn't been cleaned properly in quite a while, and the back and bottom of the toilet are always filthy.

The food and service here are fantastic! Everything on the menu is homemade, and the waitstaff are extremely friendly. They also offer some delicious dessert choices. Additionally, there's a separate room available for rental if you're looking to host a party.

My mom and I ordered potato soup and corn muffins. We had to send the soup back because it was lukewarm, and the muffins were overcooked and dry, even with plenty of butter. I'm sure it was just an off day for someone in the kitchen. We usually enjoy eating here, and the food is normally quite good!

Lovely little hometown place that we go to so frequently because it's so good! I always recommend them for breakfast and lunch!
