El Potrillo - Church Hill

Great food, great prices, So friendly,,, Yum Yum....I love this place....if You like real Mexican cuisine, you will love this place....

I love their food. It is like real Mexican food--not the Americanized versions. Many locals like the hot Tex-Mex food. Having traveled in Mexico, I do prefer the real thing. The service is good, fast, and friendly. It is an older building that is not fancy and being in Church Hill (no liquor by the drink laws) it does not serve alcohol. If you are looking for a good meal and go on home this is a great place. I wish they had an online menu for the days (like today) that I want to order carry out and go on home.

Not too good. It use to be way better a couple of yrs ago.

I'll never eat here again. We eat here at least once a week. We get the same every time. There was a mix with our order, bc the lady with the order via the phone not very good English. We wanted to pick it up and it was $10 more than normal. We explained what we had. The owner wouldn't give us the extra dollars we paid. He ran the card before we found out how much it was. Remember that we get the same, but when the cockpit was handed over to my husband, he noticed the additional amount. The manager said he couldn't return our money. We didn't order the additional record we charged, and he wouldn't give me the opportunity to even explain, he said there was no way to return it. That's not right. I do not recommend this service to anyone. Treat others as you want to be treated. Obviously he doesn't know, but hopefully he will.

Wonderful food, especially the El Potrillo Salad (my favorites). I love her tea too! Everything is great, including friendly and attentive staff!
