The Old Vicarage Cafe, Restaurant Bar

We visited the Old Vicarage on Saturday, and I decided to try the confit duck thighs, which were cooked to perfection and definitely worth the $42. However, I did find one downside: the limited variety on the menu. My partner ordered a steak, and unfortunately, that was the only steak option available. Their meal featured a mac and cheese croquette and broccolini as the main sides. If there had been another steak choice that included a range of vegetables like the other main dishes, my rating for the food would have easily been a 5 out of 5. On a positive note, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the café itself had a cozy, inviting atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

The experience was good overall, though the service could use some improvement and the cleanliness could be better. However, the staff are friendly and the food is delicious! I highly recommend the chips—they're fantastic—along with the cokes and raspberry drinks. The outdoor seating area is also really nice.

Great venue for a brunch or lunch, lovely grounds snd on s nice day i could site and snack away hours. Service was good and well priced for such a great spot. By far one of my fav brunch spots.

This place is a stunning setting! I came here with friends of multiple ages for coffees and fluffies. There is lots of outdoor seating and different rooms with different vibes inside. We didn't eat but the menu looked delicious, good for a family dinner or a date.
