Sun Dog Diner - Christchurch

Our family desperately needing breakfast and after hearing amazing things about this location we gave it a shot. Called ahead and our table was waiting. Greeted with a smile as we came in, the atmosphere was really inviting. First let me tell you the smells coming from the kitchen were amazing. We ordered Jenga French Toast, Burrito Reynolds x 2 and the Superfly Nachos. All of our food came out hot and fresh and it was an incredible experience. The nachos were described by my wife as the most legit so far in NZ. The chef might be an American? Hoping to return for dinner soon and will update again. If you family needs food and it's breakfast, well head here....it was a great experience. You and your family will not be disappointed.

This has got to be my favourite restaurant of all time! I really wish we lived closer so I could visit here all the time. I love everything about this restaurant, especially their extensive menu with loads of options. The food is fantastic and being able to get a half order is wonderful. Also big props for having a **** Mary on the menu!

After daughter's string concert we stopped by Sun Dog Diner for dinner, GREAT experience! The atmosphere, the food (with authentic ingredients, not processed goods! , the services... an American diner with its own unique style, a place to visit time after time!

A delicious meal just down the street from our hotel. The Diner's décor is fascinating and worth 5 or minutes of your time. We ordered several items off of the menu and love every one of them. Highly recommend!

Food was delicious, service was up beat and the staff were so friendly. We were walk ins and they kindly found somewhere for us. Will definitely go back the next time we are in Christchurch and will recommend to anyone traveling down.
