Royal Tandoor - Christchurch

The chicken in the butter chicken had an unusual taste, and they forgot one of our naan breads, which were priced at $5-$6 each. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I won't be returning. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I've had a decent curry here in the past, but the food quality during my last visit was awful. It appears to be inconsistent. I likely won't take the chance of going back.

I accidentally ordered the wrong dish, but the staff were very accommodating and replaced it with a new one. This level of service made the food even more enjoyable!

The garlic naan was perfect. The mango lassi was perfect. The curries were okay, but definitely nowhere near spicy enough, we ordered hot but they were more like mild, not even medium.

Amazing 11/10 a MUST have is the garlic and cheese naan, genuinely the best I've ever had. They also tandoor the chicken in the butter chicken which adds to the flavour. I will be going back and am annoyed I didn't find out about this place sooner.
