This restaurant is a fantastic lunchtime spot! If you’re unsure about what to order, just ask the friendly staff, and they’re usually happy to help with your request. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. They offer a variety of options, including sushi, dumplings, karaage chicken, and bento boxes, to name a few.

I found the service attentive not intrusive, the food exquisite a perfect balance of flavors, textures and quantity, the Brule was a beautiful way to end a memorable meal, I will be back

A very enjoyable dinner experience. Service was very attentive and the food was very modern and good use of seasonal local produce. Also enjoyed their sake trial set of 3 different grades of sake from the same distiller.

You know you’ve stumbled upon something special when you enter on a rainy Monday night and the restaurant is bustling with people. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and delicious, served atop a bed of micro herbs and greens that I simply couldn't resist finishing in just 10 minutes. The red prawns were the highlight for me, exactly as I had envisioned them. The beef tataki was also quite impressive, featuring crispy garlic flakes, paper-thin slices of Parmesan, and a perfectly balanced dressing. The thinly sliced onion and salad complemented the dish beautifully. Definitely give it a try—you won’t be disappointed!

This is an amazing, truly authentic Japanese restaurant! The sashimi, scampi sashimi, oysters, grouper head, and beef tataki are all delicious! It’s the best Japanese restaurant in New Zealand!
