Sagra Del Tartufo, Chiusi Della Verna

For me, the Chiusi della Verna truffle festival remains one of the best festivals in Arezzo. In addition to the goodness of the menu with quality raw materials, I found excellent organization from all the staff. My husband and I came for two evenings and had a great time. The tagliatelle with truffles and the ravioli were excellent. The roast beef with truffles was delicious. And what about the sausages... made just as they should. And then we ate with ceramic plates, glass glasses and real forks... no plastic. Even though the waiters were very young and unprofessional, they were up to the task... good.

Terrible experience, so much so that I left. I went to the truffle festival with the intention of having lunch at the proloco stand but the disorganization made me run away, in fact at around 11am, given that the food stand opened at 12pm, I headed towards the cash registers, and I saw that at the entrance to the restaurant there was already a queue, on five lines, about twenty meters long, he was waiting for 12 to be able to enter, after having bought the ticket with the order, but the absurd thing was a queue, at the only one open case, about 50/60 meters long, naturally on two or three lines... Absurd.

They are top notch and very kind, too bad this year there is no truffle festival, hopefully next year. It's a festival that I recommend.

La Verna is 1 place in the middle of nature that everyone should see. A peaceful place where you can sit on a lawn, take long walks and see beautiful views. Highly recommended!
