Kona's On Nord - Chico

This sandwich shop is truly fantastic! The soup is delicious, as are the sandwiches, and the staff is very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The atmosphere is fun and the food is amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in Chico looking for a delicious tri-tip sandwich.

I typically don't give 5-star reviews, but this restaurant has won me over completely. The food is exceptional, especially if you let them choose the bread for you. I also really enjoy the soup of the day and the exceptional service provided by the staff and owner. Kona's is my go-to spot on cold, rainy days.

Your typical college town sub shop. Much better quality ambience than subway, while still being competitive on price with larger chains like Togo's. $0.50 credit card fee plus the machine asks for tips despite counter service.

I wouldn't rate this place a 4.5 star. I paid $17 for 2 6 inch sandwhiches. Ya not bad for now a days. But I had a Blt with hardly any bacon could barley taste the tomato. My son got a turkey n cheese which was really good without the cheese. The cheese was cut very lazily. Chunky n gross. They were also extremely slim on the meats. Not worth the price you pay.

Dave was great! This was my first time to be here and love the experience. It's just a sandwich spot, but the service made it feel like it's much more than that! Anthony was great too. Super friendly staff. Absolutely come back. Go A!
