Kostali - Chicago

After a few initial hiccups, our group of four settled in and enjoyed all of our drinks, meals, and desserts. Three members of our party ordered the cod and declared it one of the best seafood dishes they've ever had. I opted for the tagine; although I'm not particularly fond of chickpeas or couscous, I thoroughly enjoyed the dish. The drinks were excellent, though I thought $23 for a martini was a bit steep. The bread and burrata were both delicious. Our waiter was a bit overly excitable and not very personable, but it didn’t detract from our celebration of the 75th birthday!

We enjoyed dining at the other NAHA restaurants, but our experience at Kostali left much to be desired. The hostesses at the reception were unfriendly and dismissive when we expressed concerns about the difficulty of finding parking at the hotel. We ended up parking at the lot above the road, which offered no discount and charged $42 for just two hours. While our waitress was pleasant and the food was satisfactory, it certainly wasn't worth the hassle or the exorbitant parking fees.

The food was excellent! The wine list was quite intriguing, and the service was fantastic!

That was not good. the ceilings were very low. go somewhere else.

We enjoyed our dinner but were disappointed that we only found out the day before that there would b a special menu because it was THE DAY AFTER Valentines Day. We had been looking forward to viewing and ordering from the complete menu.
