It's certainly nothing much to look at from the outside, and the interior isn't much to write home about, either. But for a Humboldt Park hole in the wall, the food is good, particularly the roast chicken, you get a lot of it, it's a decent price, the service is fast and the small place is cozy. It feels like real, pure, good Chicago. I was happy I stopped in.

Really good experience, service was good, food was great, the mac needed some work but I came in close to their closing time. Perch was crispy and authentic, green beans were exceptional. would recommendWheelchair accessibility: there is a ramp at front door.

This is my kind of place. The catfish sandwich was divine. Substitute soul food sides for fries with a sandwich. Decorative roosters for decor. And the people are nice.

Friendly service and succulent chicken. Priced well for quality of food and portions you receive. Breakfast specials as well. Patio seating in back is wonderful.

Nice little diner. Serves classic southern food. Nothing super fancy, but it does what it does well
