Bixi Brewpub - Chicago

I loved my visit here. My girlfriend and I went for a date night. Our server was very helpful, asked if it was our first time and explained the menu and cuisine we were about to eat. The smash burger was delicious, I’ve suggested it to friends and family if they are in the area and want a great burger for a fair price. I also had never had gimbap before and I was glad we tried it.

I have no photos because there was nothing left on the plate! Food and service were absolutely amazing. Those were the best green beans I’ve EVER had! The drunken noodles packed so much flavor in each bite. The fries are fried in beef fat. Need I say more? The upstairs bar is a pleasant surprise as the roof is retractable (and is available for private parties). Vibes for days. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

This restaurant is a refreshing alternative to those in downtown. Nestled in Wicker Park, it's a hidden gem. The upstairs dining area is beautifully designed, and the food is packed with incredible flavors, showcasing a delightful fusion of various cuisines. The cocktails are fantastic too. Well done!

I started with the Brussels sprout salad, which I shared with three friends. We all absolutely loved it! The dish included dates and offered a delightful crunch in every bite. The server swapped out the dressing for a vinaigrette option, which worked perfectly. Despite sharing, I found it quite challenging to finish, as the portion size was substantial and very filling. In fact, I didn’t even touch my main course because I was so full from the salad. Overall, the service was fantastic, the ambiance was charming, and it was wonderfully vegan-friendly.
