Don Pepe Mexican - Chester

Is it better than Don Pepe? No. However, if you’re looking for delicious food served quickly by some of the coolest and most beautiful people around, this is the place to stop. I have never had anything here that I didn't enjoy. I also have allergies to milk, shellfish, and tree nuts, and they were incredibly accommodating, ensuring my meals were safe. When I had questions about certain dishes, they were more than happy to research and provide answers before I placed my order. Their salsa is consistently fantastic. I have to admit, I love ordering their Burritos deluxe every time I visit because they are always delicious, but they have a variety of other dishes that are sure to please just about everyone. The portions are generous and the prices are great, so be prepared to take some home. Don’t worry – the leftovers taste just as good the next day. Let’s be honest; I often find myself going back for seconds late at night so that very little makes it to my lunch the following day. There’s a reason why there are rarely leftovers!

Update from February 2022. We stayed in Don Pepe a few times for lunch and dinner as a family. Every time we left, we could sit right away. The food is delicious and the service was very fast. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly and attentive. For anyone travelling I-95, Don Pepe is a simple stop as they are right in front of the Interstate. Whether you are local or just go through, Don Pepe is definitely a good place to stop for lunch or dinner.

Ok Folks. I've been to a hundred different Mexican restaurants and I never had service this fast. Literally, hot food in front of me two minutes after I spoke the words to my waitress...and the place was busy. Food was great, and was exactly what I expected. You CANNOT beat the price either. Good food, but excellent service and gigantic margaritas! What is not especially to love Taco's and Fried ice cream.

Large Mexican restaurant with great drinks. Also had a children's menu. Good for family or date night. We have been twice with Anthony as our server (both times). He's very nice. Absolutely back!
