Don Papa Grande - Chester

This restaurant serves some decent Mexican food. We ordered takeout for my birthday, and despite the food not being hot due to the nature of takeout, it was quite tasty. I had the enchiladas and really enjoyed the chips and salsa. The guacamole was a little too limey for my taste, and I wasn't a fan of the white salsa as it reminded me of ranch dressing. Overall, I would definitely consider eating there again.

We dined at Don Papa Grande in Chester, located on Route 10. We chose to sit in the bar area at a high-top table, and the oversized seating proved to be quite comfortable with its supportive backrest. I ordered the Pollo Azteca, which was absolutely delicious. It featured thinly sliced chicken breast topped with squash, peppers, and onions—though I opted out of the mushrooms. It was flavorful and satisfying. My sister tried the chicken chimichangas along with a mango margarita, and both meals were delightful. We are definitely planning to return. Next time, I’m eager to try the La Mula, a twist on the Moscow Mule made with tequila and served in a charming clay pot.

This place was always my go to for Mexican..last week I Ordered takeout the cheese was cold with a plastic type texture the rice was hard and overcooked.I had diarrhea for a entire day. My stomach hurt like heck that entire night .They have completely lost my business.I usually order takeout every Friday from them but it's been a month since my last order.I will not be going back here ever

I absolutely love this place! The food is consistently delicious, and the drinks are fantastic. One of my favorites is the guacamole with shrimp. Everything I've tried has been great, especially the burrito Trejano.

My best friend and I were looking for a new place to try. So, when we walked in it was clean and smelled great. The menu was fabulous and the server explained the menu so well. (Side note, the best salsa I?ve had in VA) I ordered fajita nachos and she ordered Pollo Jalisco, both delicious. I can?t wait to go with our friends and hit the bar!! This is our new go to spot.
