Recovery Sports Grill - Chesapeake

My husband and I finally found time to try this place. Our waitress was really nice. We got food (sorry no pictures) and it was ok. We got fried shrimp with the honey old bay sauce which was just ok. I got the philly cheese burger which was pretty good. The drink pictured was just juice. I knew there was alcohol in it because I could taste the Malibu rum. It was just a very weak drink. Wasn't a terrible experience. I would go back to try their fish and chips.

I gave this place 5 ? off the appearance alone. You get good vibes as soon as you walk through the doors. I had the house salad ? with grilled chicken awesome ??

The crunch burger is my new favorite thing. The fries are amazing, especially dipped in ranch or their honey old bay sauce. They're getting new staff...bartenders, wait staff, and line cooks to get the place back on track. Yes, I did just start working there, but give the place a chance! I'm married to a classically trained chef, I wouldn't work or eat at a place if I saw a dirty kitchen or bad food!

SO DISAPPOINTED. Shrimp wings were very dry. My wings were actually still pink inside, I didn't eat them. Didn't bother to send it back. Ordered some more appetizers instead bc I was so hungry. Was never told about kitchen closing at 8:45? At 8:50 I asked for a cheese cake waiter said no, cooks went home for the day. Since when do u have to cook a cheese cake?!?! NEVER coming back

The burger was good (black and blue). Many tv's and the atmosphere was good. Service came up a little short, however it was obvious they were understaffed. Maybe new manager. Positive vibes and great food.
