Contribuiți la feedbackWe went to Pho 79 for dinner tonight, which is situated on Sam's Drive near the Sam's Club in the heart of Chesapeake. As the weather starts to get cooler outside, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant...
I am not a big fan of Pho, so I decided to try the Chicken Curry at this restaurant. It was very delicious and surprisingly spicy! My sister is a Pho enthusiast and we always visit this place when she is in town.
This review specifically focuses on the banh mi sandwich. I was not impressed with it. I have had plenty of banh mi sandwiches for a lower price in Houston, so my expectations were not met.
Ate here during the lunch hours weekdays at 12-2pm, got the lunch portion pho along with two egg rolls and a Thai tea. Pho was ok, Thai tea had too much ice, egg rolls were ok as well. Overall spent $27 for one person which is outrageously expensive. Also waiters kept going to our table to clean up giving us the impression they wanted us to leave as soon as we finished our meal. I do not recommend this place.
I have visited the Northern Suffolk location before, but my mom and I decided to try out this new location. The staff were all very friendly and the atmosphere was bustling. I had the stuffed grape leaves (which the Northern Suffolk location does not offer) and they were delicious. The menu at this location has a lot more options to choose from. I am looking forward to visiting again.
