The Eagle - Chelmsford

Beautiful friendly pub with large screen in the mainbar, several other areas / alcove including one with snooker table and darts. has meal times up to 17 clock had (Friday) lunch there, was quiet TV sound mutated.

This cozy little pub has a welcoming atmosphere and a staff that is always so friendly. The spacious beer garden is absolutely stunning and perfect for enjoying those warm summer days.

I returned to the restaurant for the first time since my previous review. The previous owner has left and there is a new one since my last visit when I left a negative review. Last night, we were with a large group and had a fantastic evening. The band was excellent, we had a great time, and the staff made us feel very welcome.

Popped in last night with friends... Good atmosphere good range of beers good speed of service good amount of ale offered as a taster good beer good value good amount of seating good sports on the good number of screens. Yeah, good pub.

The restaurant has recently reopened with a welcoming Danish owner who also happens to be a skilled chef. The food is delicious and the ambiance is very pleasant.
