The Purple Daisy Picnic Cafe

My son and his family live on Lookout Mountain. After driving almost 6 hours to visit them, I typically stop at the Purple Daisy to get a Rainbow Sandwich to enjoy driving up the mountain, and when leaving a week or so later, get another Rainbow Sandwich for the drive home. I very much look forward to this delicious delicacy every time we visit.

The banana pudding was incredible! It exceeded all expectations and was an absolute treat. Highly recommend trying it if you get the chance!

This is a wonderful, fun place to stop for lunch. We were a party of 7, and there were roomy accommodations outside with fans. The menu is very creative, and they really give you lots of choices with your meal. Everyone was very happy with the food, and the service was impeccable. Unfortunately, nothing that we ordered is specifically on the checkout list below. But everything was delicious!! We only needed one check, but our waitress didn't know that going in, and she was so pleasant and really added to the enjoyment of our fun lunch. Highly recommend. Plenty of parking. Very clean restroom

Very casual, service is minimal, food is decent. Not great, but quick and pretty tasty bar b que.
