Abuelo's Mexican - Chattanooga

The service at Abuelo's is exceptional. The food is incredible, always served hot and delicious.

I was truly impressed during my recent visit with my men's group, as it had been quite a while since we dined here. We all had a fantastic time; the atmosphere was lively, and the staff was incredibly friendly. As someone who is gluten intolerant, I really appreciated how attentive the team was in ensuring my needs were met—I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. They even provided me with my own chips and salsa! A big shout out to Matt and the entire staff—you all did an amazing job, and you truly deserve the praise!

It was a pleasant experience. We were passing through Chattanooga, and this restaurant was conveniently located just off the highway. The service was good, though a bit slow; however, the staff was very friendly, especially given the busy environment. The food was enjoyable—I had two hard shell tacos, and my companion ordered a burrito. The tacos were great, while the burrito was okay, but it didn't quite meet our expectations.

I haven’t been to an abuelo’s in years and loved it again! lets start with the surprising favorite- the tomatillo salsa!! I had no idea what this was and thought it would be spicy, I was pleasantly shocked to see it was fruity?? Interestingly enough,the regular salsa was just meh okay, I wasn’t a personal fan of the roasted flavor but my brother loved it so, to each theirown. I also decided to try their mashed potatoes and wow! You never think of a Mexican place when you think mashed potatoes butthese were phenomenal!

Abuelo's service is fantastic. The food is amazing. It always comes hot and tasty.
