Mudhouse 10th St. is a cozy coffee shop tucked away from the hustle and bustle. It provides exceptional service and serves up delightful coffee drinks. I also love browsing their array of unique coffee-related retail items. An electric kettle designed for pour-overs? Count me in! Bring a book or your tablet/laptop and settle in for a while. It's the perfect spot to unwind, so leave your earbuds at home and enjoy their curated playlist while you sip your drink.

This is one of the finest coffee shops in Charlottesville, and I personally think this location is the best, especially if you're looking for a place to study or unwind. The abundant natural light creates a welcoming atmosphere, and the seating is incredibly comfortable. I usually opt for an Americano, but their mochas are quite tasty, and their chocolate chip cookies are also enjoyable (though a bit on the hard side, they have a great flavor). One downside is that the cups for water are quite small, but it's not a major issue. I also buy my coffee beans here for my morning brew, and they are excellent, being independently sourced and single origin. Overall, it’s a really pleasant experience.
