Contribuiți la feedbackRoom with a view was probably my second favorite restaurant on the island (closely nipping at first place, though! . I wish I could remember our waiter's name, because he was THE BEST. He came by super friendly, making small talk but not annoying small talk, made great recommendations. What made us love him so much, though, we ordered ravioli to start. Not going to lie, my stomach was so excited for the carbs. He came by though, and told us he had to be honest and that there was only one plate left and he gave it to a little girl instead. He was so honest and so sweet and suggested a replacement and also comped us for our appetizer. He absolutely did not need to do that but the fact that we was so transparent was really amazing, such great service! I ordered the lasagna, and my husband ordered some sort of chicken. Both tasted amazing. The portions are decently sized and the prices are definitely reasonable in comparison to everything else in St. Thomas. My only complaint (and honestly, it's not really even a complaint is the restaurant could use an update. It's pretty hidden and really outdated. Sort of reminds me of an old banquet hall with weird seat covers. Obviously, the views are great *hence the name* so I kind of overlooked any small decor flubs.
The place is very hyped up in St. Thomas. Maybe it's relatively one of the best restaurants on the island but for someone who's lived in NY and D.C. it isn't. I ordered the surf turf and I liked it fine but the lobster was covered in thick creamy sauce. In general, whenever you taste the sauce more than the meat you're eating, you shouldn't be paying $50 for an entree. Honestly, if you're willing to pay that kind of money for a dinner, go to Oceana. Similar prices but there's a tremendous difference in the quality of food. Two different categories. The filet mignon and the view/service were good, however.
$5 Appetizers and Food menu for Happy Hour. Awesome!!! The host was superb! She quickly helped make room at the bar for us to beat the 7pm Happy Hour cutoff. Everything was worth it... Fried Shrimp, chicken tenders, Alfredo Pasta, Fried Calamari and Lobster Bisque... All good. And the Mango Bliss Martini OMG delicious!!!
Celebrated my daughter's 40th birthday with friends this wonderful restaurant! The staff is welcoming truly focused on your having a great experience. Their happy hour is phenomenal! And dinner well it exceeded my expectations. I had dined at other excellent trendy pricey restaurants during my stay this is the restaurant that I've made as my choice to must return to place!
Underwhelming! The restaurant and service was really nice for a nice formal dinner and I was really anticipating a great meal after reading the reviews, but the food wasn't what we expected. I ordered the chicken Marsala and it tasted ok. I had a few bites and left most of it alone. My husband had the mango chicken and that too was not that great. I don't think I would come here again
