The service at this hotel was not equal to the price point nor the renaissance name.On my first night the thermostat broke and the heat was stuck. So at 1:45 AM we awoke and were sweating. I called down to the front desk for a solution and that involved a new room at 1:45 AM. We never heard from management acknowledging the mishap nor the inconvenience. The next night we realized we may have realized left something in the other room. Called down to the front desk for assistance. Their only solution was to speak to the head of housekeeping who went home for the night. They told us they’d follow up the next day and never did. Our missing item was never a concern. The front desk staff is a total miss at this place! The valet crew is awesome very welcoming and accommodating. When choosing hotels we debated about staying about a boutique hotel vs a Marriott property because Charleston has a lot of neat hotels and I’m disappointed I chose this place for the price. I hope you have a better stay than I did.Walkability: Close to shopping
Really liked this boutique hotel. Nice setting that is centrally located. Nice pool on rooftop. Rooms in good condition with comfy beds. Guest areas are elegant and aesthetically pleasing, yet comfortable. Did have a room service charge on our bill that we didn’t incur. Waiting to hear back that they will remove that.Rooms: Clean and neat. Balcony nice.Nearby activities: Lots of shopping and restaurants. Everything within walking distance. Lots of pedicycles and Ubers available if you need them.
Enjoyed a long weekend with my husband at The Lindy! The atmosphere is adorable! So many places to hang out. Our room was clean and nice. We did have some kind of flooding in our first room, but the front desk immediately got us moved into another room that was also nice.Walkability: We walked everywhere from here.
I must say that I am very elated to be in such a warm welcoming establishment full of friendly, inviting staff e.g bellsman, housekeeping , deli , etc. When I arrived, the manager checked me in and provided me with places to eat, scenery to enjoy and night life where I could wind down. Dana the concierge is a GOD sent angel, I wont tell you why from my personal experience, but you must grace her with your presence and you too shall see. I am sad that my time there was short, but trust and believe I will be back and this is where I will be staying. Dont walk, run and make your reservation.
My experience with this establishment started with a phone call with the manager Briggs (sorry if misspelled). He was able to accommodate, as best he could, my upcoming travel.Upon arrival, I was greeted by Richard, who was very sweet, attentive, and helpful throughout our entire trip.I was next greeted by the front desk representative who was very helpful and accommodating. There was an issue regarding the bed linen with our room. We reached out to housekeeping and the supervisor (I believe) Keemo quickly addressed and resolved the issue.Last, is Dana. What can I say. She was exceptionally helpful, kind, sweet, attentive, talented, and a blessing to each of us during our Girl's Trip.Thank you to the entire staff for being accommodating, helpful, sweet, and treating us all like the VIP's we are!!Be Blessed!!
