Stopped for a drink after walking around the area. The cocktails were incredible and the people watching of the hotel guests was fun. Casual hotel like lobby vibe made this a relaxing afternoon cocktail hour.

This is your standard hotel lobby bar that has breakfast in the morning and drinks at night.

They provide enough to eat for breakfast so guests can have a breakfast then head out. That said the eggs on all 3 days were heavily salted. Three dishes were served. Eggs always one, then sausage or bacon which were fine. The third dish was grits then a casserole both of which were hardly touched. Maybe they should change to breakfast potato's or something more favorable than grits and casserole. The hotel seemed to be undergoing some renovation whish it needed. Housekeeping was suspended but you could go to the desk and get towels for multi day stays. The lack of daily housekeeping is showing itself in how clean the rooms are. The carpet was quite dirty.

The room was awful. We check in at 4 am after a 10 hour car ride. We were exhausted or I would not have stayed. From the dirty elevator floor , to the badly stained carpet in the room, the dirty bathroom floors and last but not least there were stains on the sheets. We requested new sheets and changed them ourselves. I Lysol everything. I still can’t believe this hotel is a Marriott property. It was an awful experience. We checked out early.
