Off Track Ice Cream - Charleston

This place serves some of the best ice cream and waffle cones I've ever tasted. The flavors are unique and not overly sweet, and the staff is fantastic. I had to wait about 20 minutes since they were busy over the weekend, but it was definitely worth it. I really enjoyed the waffle cone—it was delicious!

The restaurant boasts a lovely boho ambiance and offers a variety of unique and delicious ice cream flavors. A cup costs $5, and they provide free water. I chose the Key Lime flavor, which initially looked a bit brownish, but once I tasted it, my palate quickly adapted to its wonderfully citrusy and refreshing flavor! My husband went with a cone of what I believe was called Toasted Honey and Pistachio, and he absolutely loved it. I took a bite and found it to be delightful as well.

I was really impressed by this charming little place and the friendly, helpful staff. The unique hot fudge sundae with Tahitian vanilla was interesting and truly stood out. The butter pecan flavor was packed with pecans and simply unbeatable. We enjoyed it so much that we’re eager to return and try more flavors! Great job to Off Track for committing to using fresh, local ingredients and for making so much ice cream by hand!

That was the best vegan ice cream I ever had. It was thick, creamy and came with good blows. They had vegan whipped cream! Everyone in my party also loved her non-veganese ice cream, don't worry. It is not a vegan facility, but for vegan non-dairy consumers, it is a great place for everyone! I would say, however, that her staff seemed a little cold and blunt. But that could be because of the crowd.

This ice cream place is the best place to cool yourselves off from the Charleston heat! We ordered key lime, oatmeal cookie and milk flavour, and chocolate brownie fudge and all the three flavours were rich and tasty!! Highly recommend this place!
